What the tests indicate so far is that Connie has a problem with her parathyroid. Here is a link to a site that explains what this is and what the doctors do to treat the problem. Here is the link. The trip was planned to Minnesota after we found out there was a 3-4 month wait to have the surgery done in state. The good news is that patients recover very well after surgery, so we are all optimistic.

Thanks Mike for getting this started this will make it much easier on all of us to keep everyone informed.
Just to let everyone know that we plan to leave tomorrow morning around 5:00am. We planned a days travel and Mom sees her doctors for testing first thing on Wednesday. We should have some news by late afternoon. So check back with us then. Take care and keep Mom in your thoughts and prayers. Vicki

Mama called tonight with the address to this page. She did a good job. Jim and I were in Ludington about one, I wonder if we passed. We are glad all of you are there, its a perfect place to be so I hear, if you need to be. Our prayers are with you all.
